Liam Wilkinson
CEO & FOUNDER
Liam established Fortier in 2021, navigating the challenges of a global pandemic and the midst of Brexit-related uncertainties.
Despite the economic instability, it became evident that affluent borrowers encountered numerous obstacles when seeking high-value financing in Europe.
With more than a decade of living in Nice as a proud British expatriate, Liam utilised his wealth of experiences, knowledge, and industry contacts to create a specialised debt advisory service in Europe tailored for high net worth individuals.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Liam engages in road cycling, conquering both gravity and the picturesque landscapes of southern France.
Prior to relocating to France, he was a high-performance scholarship student and completed an MA in international business.

Ben Mosses
Associate
With more than 2 years of experience, Ben has swiftly become an integral team member at Fortier.
Undoubtedly, his prior career in professional rugby, representing England and playing for Bath and Bristol rugby, has equipped him with the ability to navigate challenging situations, maintain a composed demeanor, and demonstrate deal-making qualities among high-net-worth individuals.
Outside of the professional realm, you’ll find Ben skiing in the French Alps or achieving birdies on some of the world’s finest golf courses.
Fun fact: both Ben and Liam represented England U18’s and faced off against France at the Stade Mayol. Little did they know, they would reconnect several years later in the south of France and collaborate at Fortier!

Mel Williams
Associate
After an extensive and fulfilling career in banking, Mel became an international associate with Fortier Finance in early 2023.
Before joining the team, he held a senior role as a relationship manager and mortgage advisor at a reputable bank, where he catered to the financial needs of international U/HNW clients in Europe.
Mel is widely acknowledged by industry professionals for providing a top-class professional service, as evidenced by client testimonials and repeat business.
Mel is a dedicated family man, happily married to his wife Sandra, and a proud father of two grown-up sons, Josh and Sam. In his spare ime, he finds joy in traveling, engaging in various sports, and maintaining fitness, particularly through running and cycling. Notably, Mel recently completed a full marathon from Nice to Cannes alongside his son Josh, raising funds for local charities, most notably Mimosa Matters.
